I was born and raised in the Thousand Islands region of upstate New York. My journey down South started immediately following high school as I attended Coastal Carolina University for undergrad, earning a degree in Health Promotion with a minor in Sports Medicine/Exercise Science. Being a scholar athlete all throughout high school, I understood early on the importance of health and preventative medicine. I loved how Eastern Medicine embraced this concept of preventing disease and maintaining optimal health, not just treating illness. I received my Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from New York Chiropractic College and am Nationally Board Certified in Acupuncture by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Being raised on The St. Lawrence River all my life I knew I couldn’t live anywhere but near the water. I love the healing energy that Charleston in itself provides: a perfect balance of liveliness and calmness. Which I feel relates directly to who I am as a person, as well as a practitioner. I love both the peacefulness of being the only person on the beach at sunrise, as well as enjoying a rooftop cocktail surrounded by laughter. I am a lover of all things natural, spiritual, colorful & kind.
